Farmers to get more compensation: CIDCO



The nodal agency of the development CIDCO of the International Navi Mumbai Airport has decided to compensate more to the farmers for which they have planned a new draft. Now CIDCO will be giving 3.5 crore per hectare or 22.5 constructed land to the farmers who have lost their lands. The effectors has still not given any reaction or not asked time to think on this. The effectors before had demanded 35-40% of land from the developed airport and had first hand refused to take 12.5% or 10 lakh rupees from the government.  CIDCO is in talking terms with these farmers to acquire more 291 hectares land as 80 hectares are under the agency in which 110 hectares is spread withmangroves.
The discussion is still on and CIDCO is trying it best to clear the situation as soon as possible. In the plan CIDCO has use 14,500 crore in which 9,000 crore is used in its first phase and 4,000 crore is going in compensation to the effectors in redevelopment.
