Vascon launches Nature Springs township in Pune
Vascon Engineers, the Pune-based real estate company, is developing a green township, Nature Springs, at Talegaon suburb in Pune. The residential project is a joint venture with the Weikfield group of companies also based in Pune.

The project, spread over 59 acres, boasts of being the ideal place for a second home, weekend home or an everyday home for the buyer.

“We are developing Nature Springs with a total investment of Rs 474 crore,” D Santhanam, chief financial officer at Vascon Engineers said. He said the township project, to be developed phase wise, will comprise a total of 1,500 apartments, apart from independent villas and row houses facing the Indrayani river. “The property is priced in the range of Rs 2,700–4,500 per sq ft,” Santhanam said. Construction has already started and will be ready for possession within the next two-three years.

The project offers two and three bedroom apartments, connected villas, and luxurious independent villas. “There is a 320 metre riverfront with the project, offering panoramic riverside views to residents across various buildings and villas, making a the perfect weekend getaway,” Santhanam said.

The project is in close proximity to Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Pune’s IT hub Hinjewadi, as well as Mumbai (about two hours) via the Mumbai-Pune expressway.

Santhanam said with a major focus being given to nature, the landscaping includes trees, lush green plants and water bodies to create a meditative and calm feeling throughout the township. “The project also offers recreational activities such as rock climbing, swimming and facilities for cricket, volleyball, and tennis games,” Santhanam said.

According to him, this is the first project in Talegaon to be registered under the IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) certification, and the company has also applied for a green township certification which would cover the entire project.
