July 12, 2012: Timbor Home Limited, India’s only fully integrated furniture company, has tied up with major builders and corporate clients by launching its ‘Ready to Live’ furniture solutions for new residential schemes and housing projects. Company extends its support as an interior partner to major builder groups as well as renowned corporate companies for their employee housing projects.

Timbor Home is the only company in the Indian furniture industry to be fully integrated by having its own plantation, skill development institute, wood treatment facilities, manufacturing plants as well as retail stores. In addition to its offerings at retail stores, the company has now also entered into strategic tie-up with real estate companies to provide a standard format though customizable furniture solutions in bulk orders.

Aggressively focusing on this new business segment, Mr. Anant Maloo, Chairman & MD, Timbor Home Ltd says, “The real estate market is currently suffering a slow-down due to over exposure of properties and less demand. To attract the potential customers, who actually want to live and not to invest for the purpose of property appreciation, real estate companies are looking towards providing value additions in their residential offerings. We have already been tapping this opportunity by supplying doors, modular kitchens & wardrobes for big builder groups. With an initial fruitful experience, we are now in talks with many builders across India to add to our offerings by providing them with entire furniture solutions.”

Timbor Home has been supplying doors, modular kitchens and wardrobes to leading real estate players across India such as Adani’s Shantigram, GALA, Essar’s Equinox, Venus, RNA, Ganesh Housing, Sankalp, Bakeri, DLF, etc. and the experience of working with these projects has been encouraging. Real estate companies and end-users have appreciated the idea of partnering with Timbor Home as an interior partner. Amongst others, the company has also been providing wardrobes, modular kitchens and lifestyle furniture to many corporates and institutions such as Aditya Birla’s Grasim, Tata’s township at Mundra, Allahabad High Court, Zanjar Power Project, World Bank’s Icrisat, Essar Group.

As an interior partner, the company provides builders with comprehensive solutions like modular kitchens, designing of furniture, kid’s rooms and bed rooms, etc. Since furniture orders are for entire residential schemes, the basic format of the furniture structure remains same, but choices in terms of colours and kitchen accessories are offered to the end-users.

Mr. Maloo further added that, “Space being a major constraint in metros and mini-metros, customized and fully furnished flats are a new phenomenon amongst individuals with fixed budgets and corporates seeking accommodation. Moreover, with fully furnished apartments, customers no longer need to worry about all the necessities that are required to make an unfurnished accommodation liveable. The real estate market generated about USD 66.8 billion worth of revenue in 2010-11 and we foresee the market to grow to approximately USD 180 billion by 2020. The majority of the real estate market, about 80%, comprises of the residential segment and we aim to leverage the potential in this sector.”

Timbor Home is recognised for its customised solutions, superior quality as well as highly efficient and robust products. Through this tie-up Timbor will supply entire furnishing solutions like modular kitchens, wardrobes, doors, sofas, beds and other home furniture.
